Kuromori – Hard Time Attack Speed Slaying Guide

Kuromori is the eighth colossus you have to fight in Shadow of the Colossus and this time attack requires you to kill him in under 7 minutes.  At the beginning of the fight, start whistling right away to get Kuromori’s attention and run to the right side until you see a big opening. Wait for Kuromori to climb up and get ready to shoot both of his top and bottom legs. After that, he will drop all the way down to the bottom of the floor. What you want to do is jump up as he’s falling down and try to land on him and hold R2 to grab on to his body. If you miss, you will not die from fall damage. But for your next drop, you’ve got to be extra careful or you will die. Once you’re latched on to him, simply stab the two vital points under his belly. If you did your landing perfectly and didn’t have any delays, you should be able to take away half of his health in one go.

When Kuromori starts rolling over, you need to get out of the way, or you will be squished. Killed instantly. Press the circle button to roll out of his belly’s range and climb up the tower again to the same spot where you first shot him down. Rinse and repeat until he dies and you should easily kill him; you have plenty of time to do it.
