Last Stitch Goodnight is now on Steam Greenlight! With a new trailer!
Last Stitch Goodnight is a side scrolling action adventure that embraces a new modern mythology. After you survive a near-death, out-of-body experience, you are kidnapped by a doctor who is experimenting on people who satisfy certain… criteria. Escaping the doctor’s death trap of a mansion will require new weapons, new powers, and a strong stomach for facing science gone bad.
Watch the teaser trailer of Last Stitch Goodnight:
Last Stitch Goodnight is more than just a metroidvania, however. The combat blends action and adventure, and each weapon you pick up is also a tool you can use to solve puzzles and explore deeper into the doctor’s domain. The world is varied and unique, replacing generic “hallway #1762” and “office space #1287” with a giant, handcrafted mansion, complete with a fully stocked kitchen, indoor pool, lab of unspeakable horrors, and a relaxing lounge.
Most importantly, however, the story breaks down the main characters in ways that can’t be fixed with band-aids. Like my previous game, Last Stitch Goodnight may not answer life’s questions, but it does try to help you confront them, letting you work out your existential crisis on a robot by hitting it with a lead pipe.
Last Stitch Goodnight is on track for a Q1 2017 release for PC and more.
