The Guilty Gear series has been through tons of adaptions and releases over the long and illustrious timeline, and soon Switch owners will be able to get their hands on one of the first entries in the franchise – Guilty Gear XX.
A day before its release, developer Arc System has released a flashy launch trailer for the Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R release:
Switch owners will be able to dive into the fast-paced fighter and experience all 25 fighters from the original 2002 release. The game will include the Story Mode, two player fighting mode VS.2P, and the high score attaining M.O.M mode along with a few Switch exclusive features. Players can also experience the Korean soundtracks or have the option to swap between the Plus R version and the standard XX Accent Core Version.
Switch owners can pick up their copy of Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R on Thursday, May 16 2019. While the game will be available everywhere on Nintendo’s eShop, European and Asian regions can pick up a physical 20th Anniversary release which comes packed with the original Guilty Gear title.
