Leaked: Resident Evil 3 Remake and Resident Evil 8

According to a Twitter account created just to reveal unofficial information from Resident Evil, Resident Evil 8 is now being developed by Capcom, although the priority is to release Resident Evil 3 Remake first.

The only source of this rumor is Evil VR, read some of it’s “leaks” down below:

Also heard that Capcom will not launch #RE8 before launching #RE3Remake. No words if #RECV is even considered to be remade. Fans should also expect that Capcom has no interest in remaking or even retconning #RE4, #RE5 & #RE6. Two games are being focused on are 3 Remake & 8.

#RE8: From what I can gather, the setting for 8 will take place in an recently-abandoned island where the secret laboratory is located. The story so far is to uncover the truth behind the creation of Eveline and more of similar bio-weapons. (1/2)

(2/2) Some concepts from 3.5 (hook-man) will be borrowed for 8. Hallucinations will play a big part, getting players confused on what’s real or not. Still early but so far they’ve listed what they need for #RE8

In his last tweet, Evil VR says he revealed all that he could, but maybe he would get more information before E3 2019. Well I already have my salt ready and I hope you guys too, we cannot confirm this rumors, but it’s interesting what he says, if I would’ve to describe Resident Evil 2 Remake in one word it would be epic, the game has been a success for Capcom, and we can expect more remakes and even a Resident Evil 8, specially now that players are hyped with the idea and what Capcom has accomplished with the gameplay. What are your thoughts on Evil VR do you believe what he said?
