Telltale Games has announced the second season for The Wolf Among Us but they haven’t released any footage from the game. Now some screenshots have been leaked on a developer’s website that has previously worked with Telltale Games. These screenshots show Bigby Wolf redesigned and he looks a bit different now compared to season 1.
Take a look at this screenshots here:
“The Wolf Among Us launched as a five-episode season in October 2013. Based on the Fables comic book series by DC Comics’ Vertigo label, it was nominated for a D.I.C.E. Award (outstanding story) by the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences. It also took two nominations at the 2014 BAFTA Games Awards.
The Wolf Among Us is developed by Telltale Games it’s a spin-off of the Fables comic book series, it chronologically takes place before the comic series in 1986 and is a decision designed game that features very similar gameplay mechanics to Telltale’s previous game, The Walking Dead.
The main and playable character of the story is Bigby Wolf, who is sheriff of Fabletown. During this time period Ichabod Crane is deputy mayor; Snow White, who is Crane’s secretary, is the game’s deuteragonist and Bigby’s ally and close friend. The story follows Bigby as he investigates a murder, allowing him to interact with many of the well-known fables from the series.
Many decisions the player makes as Bigby have consequences. He already has a tenuous relationship with Snow White, and the story fleshes that out. If he chooses to assist (or not) one person, it may also have an effect on how another person might react to him.
The game is a gritty, violent, and hard-boiled thriller where the characters and creatures of myth, lore and legend are real and exist in our world. Based on the award-winning Fables comic books (DC Comics/Vertigo). As Bigby Wolf – THE big bad wolf – you will discover that a brutal, bloody murder is just a taste of things to come in a game series where your every decision can have enormous consequences.”
