As spotted on Resetera, remasters for games in the classic action adventure series Legacy of Kain are seemingly in the works. A statue of the series protagonist was spotted to be on display at San Diego Comic-Con, and a logo with the words “Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1 & 2 Remastered”. Dark Horse Comics product development vice president told Gamespot that the statue will be revealed in August with more information to be released at a later date, but further information about the remasters was not revealed. The first Legacy of Kain game, Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain launched on November 1, 1996 for PlayStation, PlayStation 2, Dreamcast, GameCube, and PC. The sequel, Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver launched on August 16, 1999 for PlayStation, PC, and Dreamcast.
