Book of Demons, Thing Trunk’s unique deck-building hack & slash, today receives its second and most eagerly anticipated class: the powerful spell-slinging Mage.
With today’s update, players can collect and combine 16 new class cards to overcome papercraft-like adversaries using the Mage’s spell-focused playstyle. A fragile unit with high damage output and the power to summon minions, the Mage differs quite significantly from the Warrior class and will require players to experiment with new card synergies and combinations to conquer the most difficult dungeons.
Book of Demons launched on Steam Early Access in July to very positive Steam reviews and has already earned several awards including Best Game Art at Casual Connect 2016 in Tel Aviv. The third and final class is set to release early 2017.
Check out the Mage Gameplay:
“To play a fragile but powerful Mage you need to have at least a level 5 Warrior character already on your profile. So if you don’t have one, you will need to learn the game basics playing Warrior first. But leveling, in the beginning, is very fast, so, either way, you will be able to check out the Mage in no time.
And please remember that Book of Demons is still in early access and this is the first version of the game featuring the Mage character, so things might be rough at places and it might take some time before every quirk is ironed out.”
