Atlus is gearing up for the upcoming Japan release of the new massive expansion to Persona 5, Persona 5 Royal. The latest tease is a new trailer giving fans a look at the mature and responsible student of Shujin Academy and fellow Phantom Thief, Makoto Niijima.
Check out the new Makoto trailer below:
While veteran players of Persona 5 know what to expect out of Makoto, Royal brings an all-new experience to both newcomers and returning players. With a brand new location to explore in Kichijoji, tons of new activities and scenarios will offer new features to the same story.
The new expansion will also introduce a brand new Phantom Thief in Kasumi, new Confidants and allow players to experience the previously unplayable third semester in the story. Persona 5 Royal is looking like a worthy expansion to a game that already pushed players over the 100 hour mark.
Persona 5 Royal is set to release in Japan on October 31, 2019 and will head over to the west sometime in 2020 exclusively on the PS4.
