Mario Tennis Ultra Smash New Trailer Released

Mario Tennis Ultra Smash New Trailer Released

Nintendo unveiled the new trailer for Mario Tennis Ultra Smash, currently being developed by Camelot Software Planning, this is the 4th entry in the Mario Tennis Series featuring Mario and company going at it through intense Tennis gameplay mayhem. The new trailer features the sprixie from Super Mario 3D World as being a playable character in the game.

The game had it’s beginnings on Nintendo 64 followed by it’s sequels Mario Power Tennis for the Gamecube and Mario Tennis Open for the Nintendo 3ds. The game can be played using the Wii U gamepad, pro-controller and the Wii mote although it’s only supported by grabbing the Wii mote sideways, oddly enough, the game doesn’t support motion controls.

Here is the new trailer for the game:

The game is set to release on November 19 in Japan, 20 for Wii U in the US and European territories and 21 in Australia.

“Compete with friends in the multiplayer Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash game on the Wii U system. Along with the fun and dynamic gameplay known to the franchise, surprise your opponents with a new move to the series, the Jumpshot, which sends the ball flying down the court. Change the sport up with new Mega Battles, using the Mega Mushroom to gain an advantage over the competition. Claim your spot in Mario Tennis lore in singles (1v1) or doubles (2v2) as you play with and against family, friends or the CPU using returning and new characters to the series.”
