Marvel Reveals Ultimate Alliance 3 DLC Characters at Comic Con

During the opening day of San Diego Comic Con 2019, Marvel revealed upcoming characters planned to arrive on the Switch’s release of Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order. While Nintendo has already confirmed the existence of three upcoming “Character Packs”, three other characters will be hitting the game for free before then.

Marvel revealed that with today’s launch of Ultimate Alliance 3, players will be able to download Loki as a new member. After that, both Cyclops and Colossus from the X-Men series will be available as free downloads starting on August 30, 2019.

The game will also be receiving the three character expansions as post-launch paid content which Marvel has already revealed what characters we might expect. X-Men will be one characters pack, Fantastic Four a second pack and the third pack will feature Marvel Knights and include Punisher, Blade, Moon Knight and Morbius. None of the release dates have yet been confirmed for any of these upcoming character expansion, but at least we’re getting a few characters for free before then.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order releases today, July 19, 2019, exclusively for the Switch.
