Mass Effect Trilogy Remaster Spotted on Retailer’s Website

The Mass Effect Trilogy Remastered has been spotted online via a Portuguese website that listed the rumored collection for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

The image was shared by Twitter user Nibellion, who noticed that the site is ready to take pre-orders for the collection.  In late August, Venture Beat’s Jeff Grubb suggested, that a Mass Effect Remaster could be announced or released in October 2020.

It’s now expected that the Mass Effect Trilogy Remastered edition will be announced tomorrow, at the Nintendo Direct Mini: Parter Showcase September. As reported by IGN, Bioware has affirmed that they are not done with the franchise, they are interested to return in the near future.

“It’s not like we’ve decided, ‘Hey, all of our games are now gonna be Anthem,'” said Anthem Game Director Jon Warner. “Our other games, as we go forward, are gonna take things out of the toolbox that they need to be true to themselves. Whether that’s another bout of multiplayer – we’ll see.”

Mass Effect

is a military science fiction game created by Preston Watamaniuk, Drew Karpyshyn, and Casey Hudson,  the development studio was BioWare and the publisher is EA. The story is presented on a third-person perspective where players take the role of a soldier named Commander Shepard, his mission is to save the galaxy from a race of mechanical beings known as Reapers.

The first game, released in 2007, sees Shepard investigating Saren Arterius, the game’s antagonist, who seeks for the extermination of societies that exceeds a threshold of technological advancement in the galaxy.

The original Mass Effect: Trilogy, is available on Windows PC through Origin, and PlayStation 3. According to EA the collection features over 75 hours of content one of gaming’s most acclaimed franchises. “Experience all three Mass Effect games for an amazing value, including the original Mass Effect for the first time ever.”
