Mastered Ultra Instinct Goku Confirmed for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2

Having Bandai Namco recently teased us with a new transformation for Goku would be featured in the next DLC for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 this month’s issue of V Jump magazine has confirmed Ultra Instinct Goku will be playabe soon.

Goku will feature a ki-charging technique called “Accelerating Battle Aura”. V Jump has also revealed that a new scenario will be included in the DLC.

Check out the screenshot from V Jump magazine below:

Ultra Instinct is one of the better additions to the Dragon Ball canon introduced in Dragon Ball Super, as it’s a form that allows Goku to basically dodge any attack and looks cool as heck. And now that form is coming to Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 in a way we didn’t expect.

Goku’s “perfected” Ultra Instinct (complete with silver hair) has yet to be seen in the series proper, but now we have a good look at Goku’s final form ever (since the series is ending). In Xenoverse 2, he has “Accelerated Battle Aura” which charges his ki and allows him to perform another attack even if his rush attack misses.

DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 2 builds upon the highly popular DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE with enhanced graphics that will further immerse players into the largest and most detailed Dragon Ball world ever developed.

DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 2  delivers a new hub city and the most character customization choices to date among a multitude of new features and special upgrades.

Key Features:

  • Relive the Dragon Ball story by time traveling and protecting historic moments in the Dragon Ball universe
  • Brand new hub city more than 7X the size of the original game with 300 players online at the same time
  • Next-gen visuals bring the Dragon Ball anime experience to life
  • New characters and boss fights
  • More in depth character creation system and battle adjustments
  • Post launch support for one year
