Pixelvex LLC is launching Windows PC game Metagalactic Blitz as an Early Access title on Steam May 19th.
Metagalactic Blitz gives you that euphoric feeling of hurling a dodgeball in someone’s face, but adds the sci-fi weapons you wish you had in gym class! Powershot, reflect, dash, and blast your way to the top in this competitive arena game.
This is a physics-based fighting game that focuses on ranged combat. There are nine playable characters in the game that share the mechanics of throwing, reflecting, and catching dodgeballs. Each character also has a unique set of special attacks that are fueled by picking up balls. The game revolves around strategically using your offensive and defensive mechanics to overpower your opponent and knock them off the side.
It is launching as an Early Access title, but already contains most of the full launch features. The roster of nine characters is ready for launch, with three playable maps, up to four person local multiplayer, and 1v1 online ranked multiplayer. During Early Access the developers plan on polishing the online experience and creating more maps for the game, as well as listening closely to community feedback to gauge what direction the players want it to take.

You’ll be provided with a handful of characters to choose from with their own unique abilities, team-based or a free-for-all game modes and bots to go up against if you can’t find someone to play with, which is always appreciated and praise worthy to any game that adds them.
