It looks like Mondo art house is bringing in something special for the San Diego Comic Con in 2019 with the Metal Gear Solid Soundtrack being made onto a well-designed vinyl record.
That’s right, Mondo is making a vinyl record OST for MGS along with a poster that features the artwork of Sachin Teng. Along with that is the first-time -on-vinyl soundtrack release for the 1998 PlayStation game with a limited edition package exclusively made for SDCC.
The poster is 18×24 that showcases MGS’ final showdown between Solid Snake and Liquid Snake. The poster will only be available at Mondo’s booth during SDCC and there are only 255 paintings so get them when you can for $50.
The vinyl soundtrack itself will be split across two LPs with a limited run of 1,000 for only $35. This is the Gray Fox Edition which features artwork of Gray Fox’s helmet on the cover with the artwork made by Randy Ortiz.
If you can’t make it to SDCC, then you can pick up the standard edition from Mondo’s website along with other record stores later in the summer. This edition will feature Solid Snake on the cover with his signature green hues.
If you wan to pick up the limited edition of the soundtrack, you can head to San Diego Comic Con which starts in California on Thursday, July 18 through Sunday, July 21.
If you want to listen to the Metal Gear Solid Soundtrack on glorious vinyl along with some unique artwork to show off, then you can grab this limited-edition vinyl there, or buy it here at Mondo’s Website.
