According to new rumors, Konami is working with Kojima Productions and Bluepoint Games for remakes of Silent Hill and Metal Gear Solid. The source of the rumor is the same informant that accurately leaked God of War: Ragnarok.

Throughout 2020, several informants have claimed to know that a reboot of Silent Hill is in the works, Konami has allegedly reached to several developers to produce an episodic game and a reimagination of the original game, the latter is rumored to be in development by Kojima Productions, a team who is established by several veterans of the former Team Silent.
AestheticGamer, a well-renowned leaker has also been constantly affirming that Konami and Hideo Kojima came out to an agreement, Sony would be covering the funding of the game and will keep the game as an exclusive title of the PlayStation 5.
Indications from Kojima Productions also help the speculation, the studio teased a Silent Hill announcement that never took place. The original monster designer Masahiro Ito has also confirmed his collaboration as a “Core Member” in an unannounced project. He suggested that the project is linked to Konami or Silent Hill when he says “I’m working on a title as a core member. I hope the title won’t be canceled… I can tell you nothing yet.”.
AestheticGamer claims that in 2019 a Silent Hill project started in Japan, he is 100 percent confident about Sony Japan Studios are producing the reboot, the game will be PS5 exclusive and it’s being directed by Toyama, Akira Yamaoka is composing the music and Masahiro Ito is doing artwork for the game.
The leaker also affirms that Metal Gear Solid is also getting a new remake, Bluepoint Games’ team has been working for the last three years on the game and it’s ready to be showcased on a demo in the upcoming Games Awards where Geoff Keighley will reveal the highly anticipated game. It’s also rumored that Mark Cerny has been directly involved with the game’s development, the game will be a showcase of the real potential of the PS5.
