In the same year that CD Projekt RED released The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Hideo Kojima’s long-awaited sequel to Metal Gear series found its way through our gaming platforms and earned a great reception from media, making it Konami’s last title up until now that reached a Metascore over 90. Now, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is going to be available on Xbox Game Pass, and it’s one of the best additions to the service so far.
Announced via Twitter, Xbox Game Pass subscribers will be getting Metal Gear Solid V tomorrow only on console. The game was originally launched in 2015 and competed with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt at The Game Awards of the same year till the last second, though at the end lost it to the revolutionary RPG of CDPR.

Aside from MGS V: TPP, console subscribers of the service will receive Resident Evil 4 on July 25, along with Killer Instincts and The Banner Saga 3. The last two aforementioned titles will also be available on PC, though the Windows 10 subscribers will have their exclusive games too. Today, PC owners can jump into newly released Night Call which is a story-focused narrative-driven game. Besides, For the King is the other title that’s only coming to PC version of Xbox Game Pass on July 25, the same day that Killer Instincts will be added to the service.
Tomorrow, with the addition of The Banner Saga 3, the whole franchise will be available through Xbox Game Pass which is a great opportunity to its fans to play them consecutively. Though, if you haven’t played MGS V, that should your first priority.
