After announcing that it is “evaluating different marketing promotions for new members” and discontinuing the $1 trial rate for Xbox Game Pass, Microsoft has now announced that it is reverting the decision following the announcement last month that it will increase Xbox Game Pass prices. The trial price allows new subscribers of PC Xbox Game Pass or PC Xbox Game Pass Ultimate to opt in to the service for only $1/£1. The trial price is only available for PC Game Pass. Monthly prices for Xbox Game Pass on console recently increased. The monthly price of an Xbox Game Pass subscription for console increased from $9.99 to $10.99, £7.99 to £8.99, and €9.99 to €10.99. The Xbox Game Pass Ultimate price increased from $14.99 per month to $16.99, £10.99 to £12.99, and €12.99 to €14.99.
