World Update 3 was originally scheduled for release earlier this week, but Asobo Studio, the team behind the critically acclaimed simulator announced that the update was given more time for additional polish and would release in the following days.
“Work on World Update 3 is nearly complete and we have started to integrate the photogrammetry cities into the sim. There is a bit more integration work to be done and then various data passes that need to be completed, but progress has been very good.” Said the developers in a blog post.
In a new development update, Asobo Studio affirms that World Update 3, will go live sometime between February 9 and February 11.
According to the development team, the content brings five brand-new photogrammetry cities in the UK region, Cambridge, Oxford, Birmingham, and Bristol as well as nearly 80 POIs, five new meticulously hand-crafted airports (Barra, Liverpool, Land’s End, Manchester-Barton and Out Skerries), and visual and logical improvements to 85 more area airports.
The development team at Asobo Studio also revealed the roadmap of future content to be added to Microsoft Flight Simulator in February.
