As Sony will be absent from E3 2019, Microsoft will be able to take stage this year with a lot more manpower. In fact, with everything that Microsoft will announce this year such as xCloud and the new generation consoles it looks like they want to show off with a huge grandeur.
Brad Sams from Thurrott made several speculations on how the entire Microsoft conference will start based off the information insiders from Microsoft have told him. He says that Microsoft would start to reveal their newest consoles, the Anaconda and Lockhart.
At the very least they’ll show off the features of the neww consoles such as the use of a solid-state drive, Navi graphics, Zen 2, backwards compatibility and other AMD components. So we can expect the new consoles to take previous games and play them in double or quadruple the power of the Xbox One X.
Additinally Microsoft plans to show off 14 titles from their main games studios according to Phil Spencer. It’s expected to see Gear of War 5, and some DLC for State of Decay 2, Forza Horizon 4 Expansion 2, Halo Infinite, Age of Empires, and something about Fable. Along with those it seems like 3 new IP’s will be appearing for the first time.
Microsoft would also like to show off their xCloud service, which would take cloud gaming to the next level with their games. New improvements include that their tech bests Google Stadia’s 10.7 teraflops and demos for the service may take place in a, “location outside the venue.”
Microsoft is also rebranding the Xbox PC app to Xbox Console Companion, which probably means that the GamePass for PC will be announced as well. Speaking of PC gaming, the Master Chief Collection may have some sort of PC announcement as the game’s public testing has come and gone. Maybe Microsoft will announce a new Beta soon for their Halo Franchise.
