Minecraft: Story Mode Season Two Ep. 2 ‘Giant Consequences’ Launches August 15

The second episode of the second season of Minecraft Story Mode will premiere August 15th, developer Telltale announced today. It will be available digitally for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, Mac, iOS and Android.

Here’s the description for Episode 2:

Jesse and the gang survived the Sea Temple, but they brought home a little more than they bargained for: a lost adventurer, a powerful device, and a colossal enemy capable of grinding Beacontown to dust. There may be more to this fearsome foe than meets the eye, but to find out, Jesse – together with a few trusty friends – must embark on another adventure, this time into the icy unknown…

As for Nintendo Switch users, they’ll be receiving Minecraft: Story Mode – Season One on August 22nd in the United States. Europe players can get it on August 25th. Currently, there’s no word on whether Telltale will release Season Two for the Switch. Then again, other Telltale titles could arrive for the Switch in the coming months as the company has stated a desire to “continue things”.

Telltale is also hard at work on Batman: The Enemy Within which continues the story established in Batman: The Telltale Series. Its first episode is out on August 8th. Then there’s The Wolf Among Us: Season 2, the long-awaited follow-up to critically acclaimed adventure that debuted in 2013. Fans can expect Season 2 episodes and a “standalone” story to arrive in 2018.
