Mirror’s Edge Catalyst Developer Diary – City and Narrative

Mirror’s Edge Catalyst Developer Diary – City and Narrative

Mirror’s Edge Catalyst has received a second Developer Diary in which developers DICE shed more light on the game’s story as well as the vast city of Glass that players will get to explore in what is a now open-World environment.

Glass is, as the developers describe, a mix of the “old-school grittiness”  from the previous game alongside some new glossy locales and regions (and some spaciously ambient electronic music that will serve as the game’s soundtrack) — all of which set against a new dynamic day-night cycle.

Mirror’s Edge Catalyst will be available on May 26th on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and on Origin for PC.

Check out the Video:

“Explore the city and story of Mirror’s Edge Catalyst. Learn how DICE tackled Faith’s background story, architectural design, the factions within the city of Glass, and the challenge of portraying city nightlife.”
