MJS Level One Launches Sprint On Gamekicker

MJS Level One Entertainment, a developer based out of Malaysia has officially begun their Gamekicker campaign, seeking to raise $5,000 USD for the completion of Sprint.

Have you ever thought about the days where your friends and you would gather around, excited that Mega Man came out? That fervor and excitement as all of you gather around the NES? Miss it? MJS Level One Entertainment understands that and their answer is Sprint.

Watch the introduction video of Sprint:

Sprint is a 2D action platformer game where world affairs in the game are designed to be an extension of the issues that our world face. Take the role of Sprint as he journeys through the game to protect and preserve Mother Nature from threats for the sustainability of nature for future generations.

Think of Sprint as a game where it asks the hard questions of the world. A fictional world where the world is created by proven theories and is similar to an exaggeration of our world. String Theory could have finally unified all the forces. Humans may have unlocked the secrets of dark energy or dark matter.

“We have high hopes for Sprint,” says Rock Lee, Director of MJS Level One Entertainment. “Sprint drew heavy inspiration from the 90s golden age of gaming, such as Megaman and Sonic The Hedgehog.”

“In an effort to connect the golden age of gaming to today, we also drawn inspiration from real life events that relates to the deterioration of nature.”

The game is currently crowd-funding funds, mainly for sound and music assets.
“In order to make sure Sprint reaches the level we wish for it to be, we have come forward to crowdfunding  to raise the required funds to create these tracks and effects.”

“We hope Sprint will have the potential to be what people will look up to in the future and regarded as a timeless classic in 10 or 20 years to come,” says Geffrey Goh, Game Designer of MJS Level One Entertainment.

Game Features:

  • A total of 7 controllable characters + hidden characters
  • Dynamic and colorful character personalities
  • Challenging, engaging and dynamic level designs + boss fights
  • Hidden supports for the player to uncover
  • Hidden attack gemstones waiting for the adventurous player to unlock
  • Bringing out nostalgia as its core story and gameplay.

MJS Level One Entertainment is founded by two close friends in 2013, Rock Lee CJ and Geffery Goh CH , who aspires to achieve the same golden standards of gaming set by their legendary game creators such as Hideo Kojima and others. Project Sprint is their first major project outside from their casual mobile titles. Ultimately they are building their first intellectual property (IP) and flagship title for their startup company.
