The action RPG Monster Hunter Generations for the Nintendo 3DS kicks off its series of free monthly DLC packs for fans beginning today. These free monthly packs include quests and content that will be available on the first Friday of every month through early 2017.
Added with the new DLC pack is the option to give the Felyne character class a canine look, with a costumes based on Okami’s main character, Amaterasu, and the recently announced Toon Link. The DLC also contains eight new Regular Quests, four Prowler Quests, and three Arena Challenges.
This is the first of a series of free monthly DLC packs coming to Monster Hunter Generations, which will release the first Friday of every month though early 2017.
“Now available on the Nintendo 3DS eShop, this month’s pack offers the ability to give the Felyne characters a canine look with a set based on Amaterasu from Okami, or, suit up as one of the most legendary heroes of all, Link, from The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. Both of these gear sets can be equipped for Felynes in either form – as A.I. support companions for hunters called Palicoes or with players directly controlling them in Prowler mode. The latest pack includes all this and more including 10 new quests, as well as new armor sets and weapons for both hunters and Felynes.
Monster Hunter Generations is the latest entry in Capcom’s long-running RPG series. Throughout their journey, players are tasked with defending each of the game’s four villages from new adversaries known as the Fated Four. Generations introduces a handful of new gameplay mechanics including Hunting Styles and Hunter Arts which allow players to better tailor their playstyle to their liking. “
