Capcom has pulled back the curtain on another collaboration for Monster Hunter Generations. In the game, players will be able to equip their Felynes with Arthur’s Lance and Knight Armor from Ghosts ‘n Goblins, but don’t worry: it endures more than one hit!
It looks like a lot of fun, and it seems that the Felyne characters – which are playable in the ‘Prowler Mode’ quest line, separate from the ‘normal’ equivalent – will provide some light-hearted and downright adorable variety when hunting monsters.
The game will come to the Nintendo 3DS in both North America and Europe on July 15, 2016.
Check out the Trailer:
“Capcom gives people the opportunity to earn special costumes for Felynes in Monster Hunter games that are callbacks to other titles. Last month, we learned one of these ensembles would be an Amaterasu outfit. The latest trailer shows a Felyne dressed up like Arthur from Ghosts ‘n Goblins in Monster Hunter Generations.
The Ghosts ‘n Goblins Monster Hunter Generations costume is quite detailed. It begins with a setup where another Felyne, acting as Princess Prin Prin, is kidnapped. The Arthur Felyne, sporting his full suit of armor and red beard, takes up the lance and heads out to save the day.”
