The information arrived via AsteriskAmpersand, a Monster Hunter modder who claims that he found the information of the upcoming expansion datamining Capcom’s recently leaked data.

The modder affirms that Capcom has been working on Monster Hunter Rise and the upcoming DLC since 2019, originally scheduled to release in 2022.

Monster Hunter Rise is now available on Nintendo Switch, the game will also launch on PC on an undisclosed release date. The game is an all-new Monster Hunter developed with Capcom’s proprietary RE ENGINE.
