Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Beta Announced For PS4

The upcoming massive expansion for Capcom’s Monster Hunter World, Iceborne, is set to arrive later this year, but first PS4 players will have a chance to try out various features in the expansion with a recently announced beta. The first phase of the beta will run from June 21-24, 2019 exclusively for PS Plus subscribers, while the second beta stage will become available for all other PS4 users on June 28 through July 1, 2019.

The beta will offer three different hunt quests allowing players to try out any of the 14 different weapon types. The beginner quest will have hunters slaying the Great Jagras, while the intermediate hunt having players take on the new horned wyvern monster Banbaro and the hardest hunt has hunters facing off against the Tigrex.

It’s also been noted that beta players will not need the base game of Monster Hunter World to explore the Iceborne expansion beta. You can check out the latest trailer for Iceborne below:

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne is set to arrive for the PS4 and Xbox One on September 6, 2019 and for the PC during this coming winter.
