The rivalry between Steam and Epic Games Store isn’t just about the revenue shares, though that’s the most important one. Both platforms are trying to provide more services for their users and giving away free games is part of the plan for both retailers. While steam has got its weekend deals and free games for years, Epic Games Store follows another idea. The developer behind Fortnite has promised to provide a free game for its users every week, but for the next week exceptionally the offer is going to promote.
Epic Games Store has revealed that there will be two games available for free during next week including This War of Mine and Moonlighter. The reason behind such decision is related to rating of the games. This War of Mine is a title for Mature people, so, in order to avoid the community of free games to get decreased, Epic Games has decided to add Moonlighter for those who are not allowed to play a mature game.
Both Moonlighter and This War of Mine are critically acclaimed titles that definitely worth playing. While This War of Mine takes you to an under-attack country where you and your team have to survive, Moonlighter is an action RPG where you go through dungeons and fight against different types of enemies.
