Mortal Kombat 11 will be released in less than one month but if you have pre-ordered the game, then you better jump into your console right now and start downloading the closed beta, which is available as of today for both PS4 and Xbox One platforms and will end at March 31st 11:59 P.M. PT.
The closed beta features five characters: Scorpion, Baraka, Jade, Scarlet and Kabal. While you will be able to train your skills with all of the characters available for now, Nether Realm studios has promised to improve the movements for the final version of the game, so if you feel uncomfortable with movements or find it hard to adapt to them, don’t worry at all.
During beta, you will have access to Custom Character Variation System and Towers of Time mode even when you are offline. CCV system will let you to see the performance of changing intros, victory emotes and gears of the characters. Mortal Kombat 11 beta is also features online multiplayer matches, but for playing with real opponents you need to have Xbox Live Gold or Playstation Plus subscription, depending on the platform you are playing on.
Nether Realm Studios has confirmed 22 characters for Mortal Kombat 11 so far and still we expect to see more fighters to join the roster. The game is set to be released on April 23rd for Xbox One, PS4, Switch and PC.
