Mortal Kombat 11 is available right now and most of the players don’t seem to have a big problem in running or playing it, but for PC gamers there are some limitations that we don’t often tend to see them in this powerful platform, especially when it comes to “frames per second” matter.
Mortal Kombat 11 runs at 60fps on PC in most of the gameplay hours, but there are some scenes like Fatalities or Fatal Blows that the number falls down and locks on 30fps, which definitely couldn’t be satisfying for players. Fortunately, Nether Realms carefully listens to the fans and recently has promised a new update in which PC players will be able to remove the frame-rate cap in certain scenes and allow it to run fully at 60fps. The studio said:
Additionally, on the topic of having the certain parts of the game run with a frame-rate cap of 30fps, we hear you. We’re currently working on providing the option to increase the caps in those areas to 60fps. We’ll have more details soon, stay tuned!
Aside from PC, Mortal Kombat 11 runs at 60fps through all its platforms which is a great success for the development team. However, console versions don’t seem to get the aforementioned update at all.
