Mortal Kombat 11 Gets Frost As the Last Fighter Ahead of Release

Mortal Kombat 11 finally arrived and if you take a look at reviews so far, you’ll notice that Nether Realm is still on the right track as it was always. The latest entry for Mortal Kombat series has received great scores leading it to stand shoulder to shoulder with Mortal Kombat X. Most of the reviewers have praised the gameplay in both single player and multiplayer parts, though the progression system has been detected as the weak point of the game so far. All in all, Mortal Kombat 11 is a title that both newcomers and pro fighting gamers will enjoy to play, and in order to celebrate the successful release, Nether Realm showed off the game’s last character that is available at launch.

Frost is the last fighter that is coming to Mortal Kombat 11 and she seems to be close friends with Sub-Zero, though they are beating up each other during the reveal trailer. Just like Sub-Zero, Frost utilizes frozen weapons and abilities to damage her opponents. Spawning frozen swords, attacking with a powerful wave of ice and defending with a gorgeous freezing shield are some of the character’s skills in fighting against the others. Here you can check out the reveal trailer for Frost:

Frost can also disembody his head and use it as a weapon which seems so harsh and strange within the all of the Mortal Kombat 11 characters so far. Her fatality isn’t as bloody as other fighters, but its still one of those disgusting ones and if you notice well, its origin could be found in Sub-Zero’s fatalities in previous version of the franchise.

Mortal Kombat 11 is now available for PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC.
