Mortal Kombat fans are excited more than any other time in this year right now, as they are going to get the latest entry of the series in less than one week. Mortal Kombat 11 has the chance to even get known as the most popular title of the franchise because of its release on Nintendo’s current-gen console, Switch. Last time a Mortal Kombat game published on a Nintendo console was back in 2007 and now after 12 years Switch will repeat the history. So if you will play the game on Switch, you better watch the first gameplay trailer on Nintendo’s console that has been uploaded just a few hours ago by Nether Realm.
As you know, Nintendo Switch lacks the graphical power available on PS4 or Xbox One, so every multi platform game that wants to get released on Switch, has no other option except getting downgraded for Nintendo’s portable console, and Mortal Kombat 11 has also done the same thing, but if you are eager to see how the outcome looks, here is the first gameplay trailer of the game for Switch version:
Along with gameplay footage that looks great for a console with hardware specs of Switch, the trailer also represents new cut-scenes from the story campaign to give us more details on what we have to expect from the ongoing war between different factions at Nether Realm.
In other news, Mortal Kombat 11 got its first gameplay trailer for Shao Kahn and along with that, the developer announced that the game will feature the biggest and longest story mode in the whole series. Nether Realm’s upcoming fighting title will be available on April 23rd for PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC. If you pre-order the game you will have the chance to access Shao Kahn as a bonus character.
