After great battles between DC superheroes and villains in Injustice 2, now Nether Realm is looking forward to release Mortal Kombat 11 on April 23. One of the long-running fighting franchises of all time is coming back again and the studio behind the game knows very well how excited we are to cut off heads and slash throats, which leads to consecutive Kombat Kasts and trailers that let us know more about Mortal Kombat 11, it’s characters and the progression of the mechanics in comparison to the previous title of the series.
Regardless of all these different kinds of details that we get on Mortal Kombat 11, Producer at Nether Realm Shaun Himmerick, has recently talked to Official Xbox Magazine about the game and revealed a bit of information on post-launch support of the upcoming title. He said:
I sometimes forget everything we’ve already announced, but I know I can say this, Yes, because we plan to keep adding to the game and supporting the game well after launch. The features planned to be added to the game even in the first couple months are pretty awesome. There is more coming.
According to what we remember from Mortal Kombat X and Injustice 2, it’s safe to say when it comes to post-launch contents, Nether Realm always have had exciting plans to reveal, so it sounds we will get some great features in the game as of release date.
16 characters have been confirmed for Mortal Kombat 11 so far and more is to come. The game also will feature a story mode as the previous titles. Players will be able to get into Mortal Kombat 11 on April 23rd.
