Italian developer Milestone has revealed it’ll be taking two new titles to GDC in San Francisco later this month as the studio looks to lay out its plans for what should be a monumental 2017.
Leading the line will be MXGP3 – The Official Motocross Videogame, the latest in Milestone’s officially licensed Motocross series. Sporting a major improvement in graphics – lighting, particles and textures all noticeably enhanced – as well as deformable terrain and dynamic weather, MXGP3 is set to bring Motocross fans closer to the sport they love than ever before.
Thanks to the new engine, we will feature three new main features: dynamic weather condition, dynamic terrain deformations and brand new sound. And if this is not enough for you, you will also find an enhanced customisation and career mode, along with all official MXGP and MX2 2016 riders, the official tracks, including the MXoN, both in offline and online modes.
The Official Motocross Videogame will be available from spring 2017 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC/STEAM.
Check out the Trailer:
“You know, making a video game takes time. Like, a lot of time. We’re releasing the game in spring, and the 2017 championship starts in february: it would be impossible for us to make a 2017 game in a few weeks. The final OAT hasn’t been announced yet, we need to meet the riders, take pictures for the 3D models, see the new bikes with the definitive sponsor stickers, etc… There’s a reason if we did this, even if it could sound “senseless” to those who don’t know what’s behind a video game.”
