Shortly after the announcement and reveal of the highly anticipated Borderlands 3, Gearbox Software released the Enhanced Game of the Year Edition of the original Borderlands. One of the main caveats to the entire Borderlands series is the incredibly satisfying four player co-op featured in the popular looter-shooter.
However, it seems since the enhanced version of Borderlands released last week, players across the PS4 and Xbox One have been experiencing technical issues when attempting matchmaking with friends. Many players who have been experiencing issues have taken to multiple social media forums and, luckily, Gearbox has responded stating that “Gearbox and 2K are aware of the problems that players are having” and they are “actively working on a solution.”
While there’s currently no resolve of the matchmaking issue, we’ll be sure to keep you posted when Gearbox fixes the issue within the Game of the Year Edition.
