MultiVersus Gets New Jason Voorhees Gameplay Trailer

Publisher Warner Bros. Games and developer Player First Games have released the official gameplay trailer for the upcoming MultiVersus full launch. The trailer reveals the character Jason Voorhees from the Friday the 13th franchise. Warner Bros. Games announced last month that the game will fully launch on May 28. The publisher also announced that the game is now being made in Unreal Engine 5 and will have rollback netcode included. MultiVersus first launched in open beta and ran from July 26, 2022 to June 25, 2023.

Jason towers over the competition as a Tank class character with a scary moveset that incorporates his axe and machete weapons, teleporting ability to show up right behind opponents and stuff them into a sleeping bag, fatally folding a bed in half to launch enemies off the map, and more. The video also shows off a glimpse of the “Uber Jason” character variant based on his appearance from the Jason X film.

In MultiVersus, the Multiverse is at your fingertips as you battle it out in intense two-versus-two matches. Up against Batman and Shaggy? Try using Bugs Bunny and Arya Stark! This platform fighter lets you play out your fantasy matchups in a fun co-op or head-to-head fight for supremacy.
