Check out the tweet from Newman below:
Lot of awesome positions open to help us close out this game… I especially want to highlight the Melee Animator position, I guarantee you will be working on some *dope* animations working with my good friend @Leethul 🗡️💀 pic.twitter.com/vmlVkJlfTl

We’ve recently been teased via Twitter from the game’s Director Neil Druckmann as he’s posted several images and info regarding the wrapping up of various cinematic shoots taking place in the game. There was also a rumor circling that we may see an update from the devs regarding the game within the next month or so – as well as a leaked release date – but have yet to receive any official confirmation from Sony or Naughty Dog.
As for now, all signs are pointing towards the Last of Us Part 2 finishing up which hopefully means we’ll should be receiving some release details soon. Considering the game was announced at the end of 2016 and its predecessor released at the end of the last generation in 2013, fans have been waiting for quite some time to get their hands on this promising title.
Stay tuned for more details on the current state of Last of Us Part 2 and any potential details regarding its release.
