NES Classic Edition Introduction Trailer

NES Classic Edition Introduction Trailer

It was announced a few weeks ago, but the company has now released a trailer for the game which leans heavily on the 80s nostalgia. At just $59.99, and the games it comes complete with, including Mario Bros. and two Zelda games, I think this could be massive. Sold out at Christmas massive.

As you can see, the NES Classic Edition versions are altogether brighter and crisper, with solid colors and well defined corners on the square pixels. It’s the kind of high-fidelity ROM recreation that players on PC-based emulators are already used to, but Virtual Console players may be surprised by it (especially if they last played these games through the low-definition output of the Wii).

Check out the Trailer:

“The system literally can fit into the palm of your hand, and this time around it won’t require you to blow into any cartridges to get your game to work. It comes preloaded with 30 of the most popular games on the console, including Super Mario Bros., Kirby’s Adventure, Kid Icarus, The Legend of Zelda, Punch-Out!!, and more.

The NES Classic will also sport retro style controllers, but if you don’t feel like buying them you can always use the Wii U classic controller if you already own it. The system is hitting store shelves on November 11th.”
