It appears as though a German website has leaked a new unannounced Cooking Mama game title ‘Cooking Mama: Cookstar’. The leak not only rates the new game but also hints at the new game releasing on both the Switch and PS4. Most other details regarding a new game announcement are still unavailable.
However, this isn’t the first leak hinting at the new Cooking Mama title as Australian Classification also listed the new game last week. The new title – which will be the first new entry in the series since Cooking Mama: Sweet Shop released in the west in 2017 for the 3DS – will also be the first title to release on home consoles since World Kitchen released on the Wii in 2008. And if the leaks are true, it will also be the first Cooking Mama title to release outside of the Nintendo platform.
The leak from the Australian Classification also hints that the new title will have different developers working on the game. Instead of previous developers Office Create taking the reigns, it seems that First Playable Productions will be on board for the new, unannounced title.
Stay tuned for more on these leaks for the new Cooking Mama: Cookstar title, but so far it seems pretty likely we’ll be receiving a new entry in the series soon.
