Bend Studio’s upcoming zom…ahem, freakers open world survival game, Days Gone, is nearing it’s official launch next month. During today’s debut State of Play episode from Sony, eager fans got a taste of the dramatic story of Deacon St. John, and the survivors he’s determined to help.

The trailer shows off the beautiful landscape of Oregon where the freaker infested adventure takes place. We also get to see the first glimpse of Sara, Deacon’s wife who was apparently sent away by Deacon due to injury via helicopter.
The new dramatic trailer also reveals a good look at Oregon’s many ambitious and colorful survivors ready to task Deacon with gritty survival quests, freaker slaying missions and plenty of heated moments to experience throughout the campaign.
After a flurry of setbacks and delays, Days Gone is finally ready to launch next month on April 26, 2019 exclusively for the PS4.
