Some new details have surfaced regarding the upcoming action-RPG Dragon Ball title, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. V-Jump has revealed that the upcoming game which has players take on the role of Goku throughout the iconic sagas of his adventures in the Dragon Ball universe will at least go as far as the Cell Saga. It was also revealed that during the Cell episodes players will be able to take on the roles of Trunks and Teen Gohan.
Other news revealed that players will also be able to experience what could be the greatest filler episode from the series in the game. Experienced as a driving mini-game, players will be able to jump into the driver’s seat as Goku and Piccolo attempt to get their driver’s license – an episode in Dragon Ball Z that saw Goku’s wife Chichi fed up with their lack of experience behind the wheel.
Lastly, it was revealed that a female Ginyu Force member by the name of Bonyu will make an appearance in the game. She has apparently disbanded from the awkward team of five due to the disapproval of their fighting dance and poses.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is set to release sometime in early 2020 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
