The ‘Tomb Kings’ DLC is now available on PC for Warhammer: Chaosbane, introducing a new story arc for the game
The new ‘Tomb Kings’ story is separate from the game’s main campaign, taking gamers to the Land of the Dead. From Bigben and EKO Software: “Once a civilization at its peak with impressive cities and people of noble lineage, the lands of Nehekhara have now been reduced to sand and buried ruins after the treachery of the evil Nagash.”
‘Tomb Kings’ introduces an all-new environment to Warhammer: Chaosbane, emphasizing desert landscapes in the Land of the Dead. Alongside the new story, new enemies from the Warhammer universe have also been introduced. The DLC implements “ten ancient Tombs with varied gameplay that have been sealed for millennia.” Players will also be required to solve environmental puzzles, protect magisters of the Amethyst Order, and discover dangerous artefacts in the ancient temples of the Land of the Dead.
Fans interested in the ‘Tomb Kings’ DLC can acquire the content via Steam, with the expansion coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in early 2020.
Warhammer: Chaosbane is available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One with three different versions: Standard Edition, Digital Delux Edition, and Magnus Edition. The Standard Edition includes only the base game, while the Digital Deluxe Edition includes the full game, a gold boost, unique character emotes, and unique character pets. The Magnus Edition includes all Digital Deluxe Edition content plus a fragment boost and the Season Pass.
The game released on May 31, 2019. According to the game’s Steam description: “In a world ravaged by war and dominated by magic, [players] must rise up to face the Chaos hordes. Playing solo or with up to four players in local or online co-op, choose a hero and prepare for epic battles wielding some of the most powerful artefacts of the Old World.”
