New Esports Shop Arriving In Rocket League

Psyonix will be introducing a new type of in-game shop into Rocket League this coming week that will allow players to purchase cosmetic items themed to several different eSports Championship Series teams.

Once the shop goes live, players can deck out their Octane and Dominus cars with two decals a piece, a few different wheel designs and player banners. There are ten different eSports teams that are participating in the new in-game shop, including:

  • Cloud9
  • Dignitas
  • Evil Geniuses
  • G2 Esports
  • Ghost Gaming
  • mousesports
  • NRG Esports
  • Rogue
  • Splyce
  • TSM
  • Team Vitality

Player will find the new shop once the newest update hits on April 16, 2019. Every item will refresh to new items under a timer between 24-48 hours. Purchasing these items will benefit the team related to your purchase, as the teams included will receive 30% of the revenue, and players of those teams will see a percentage of the sales to be included in the North American and European RLCS prize pool bonus.

You can read the full announcement from Psyonix here.

Jump into Rocket League and support your favorite eSports teams once the update brings in the new eSports Shop on April 16, 2019.
