Bethesda confirms that there will be a patch with new content for Fallout 76 and fixes later this month. They are planning to expand the game content via its latest “Inside the Vault” letter addressed to players with new vaults, PvP Modes, Player Vending and more!
Players don’t have to wait too long to receive the next patch because it will be out later this month, Bethesda is rolling out another massive update that addresses some of the concerns fans.
“Later this month, we are providing resolutions by way of new patches for Fallout 76,” according to Bethesda. “Like our December 11 update, we will have a big update that will address many of the issues you’ve been providing feedback on. Full patch notes will follow soon.” The company failed to share anything beyond that, so as to what’s coming in the next update is anyone’s guess for now.
New Fallout 76 Features
Apart from the update coming later this month, Bethesda also teased details about new features Fallout 76 will get at different points in the year. The wording of Bethesda’s statements makes doesn’t really make it clear whether some of the new features will be included in the January update, but that’s always a possibility. In any case, Bethesda says it’s building an “incredible list of future updates that we can’t wait to share,” such as new quests, weekly in-game events, new vaults, a new player-versus-player mode, Player Vending, “and much more.”
All those features should make any Fallout 76 fan extremely thrilled, but Player Vending in particular is perhaps the most notable out of the future additions, in large part because it’s sort of a long-anticipated wish from players, and Bethesda will finally grant it sometime this year. The company failed to specify exactly how the feature is going to work, but speculation suggests that it should at least enable human players to easily sell their unwanted or valuable gear to others.
Right now, players get by via playing as NPC traders and using the game’s trading system to pass of items for other goods or currency, which can be quite laborious. But the new player Vending feature sounds as if it’s going to make this process much easier and more straightforward.
