At the Ubisoft press conference today they showed off another trailer for Ghost Recon: Wildlands. This open world shooter supports four player online co-op and boasts the largest open world that Ubisoft has created. Allows you to do what you want when you want. They also showed some actual gameplay where a team of four attempted to capture some intel from a cartel boss. The team took a tactical approach, though the game allows for multiple strategies to accomplish the same goals. This looks like a title that will heavily rely upon good communication between players. The looks very nice so far and seems to be embracing the south American locale well with a beautiful sunset gracing the village landscape.
The mission goes sour when one teammate gets discovered and two took to a truck while another mounted a motor cycle to give chase to the fleeing drug lord. The chase that ensued afterwords was pretty impressive display of the persistent world that the team at Ubisoft has crafted for Wildlands. It will be great to see how this open-world format will pan out in conjunction with the game’s overarching narrative. Ghost Recon: Wildlands will launch March 7, 2017.
