New Gorgeous Spyro-Themed Switch Controller Revealed

Activision and Toys for Bob are gearing up to release their trilogy remake of everyone’s favorite purple dragon, Spyro Reignited Trilogy, for the Switch in just a couple of weeks. To celebrate the occasion, the third party video game accessory company PowerA has unveiled their latest creation – a beautiful Spyro-themed Switch Pro controller.

The new controller is an official Nintendo licensed Switch controller that runs off AA batteries as opposed to including a charge pack. The new controller also doesn’t support the rumble feature or the ability to scan Amiibos. Nevertheless, this new slick design is sure to scream at diehard Spyro fans before they get their hands on the trilogy set to release next month.

The controller also features two unique rear triggers that are completely mappable for a more comfortable design. If you’re looking to grab this sharp new controller, be sure to pick up a compatible re-charge battery pack so you’re not pumping in fresh AA’s every 30 or so hours.

The new PowerA Spyro-themed Switch controller will be available on August 31, 2019 just ahead of the launch of the Reignited Trilogy on the Switch on September 3, 2019.
