is receiving a new game mode, titled Cranked, on December 18, 2019, alongside a new Operator, new multiplayer maps, and new Special Ops experiences.
The new game mode, Cranked, is a “fast-paced, high octane Deathmatch where players race against the clock to get kills or suffer an explosive fate,” similar to the premise in the Jason Statham movie of the same name.
Cranked will be available to play on the new Multiplayer maps, as will traditional Multiplayer modes, such as Team Deathmatch.
Moreover, a new Operator—Nikto—will join Mara as part of Modern Warfare Season One. Nikto is part of the Allegiance forces and “is a former Russian FSB deep cover agent that has been reassigned to Spetsnaz in the Allegiance forces.” Players can acquire the new Operator via the ‘Nikto Operator Bundle,’ complete with Nikto, a watch, weapon blueprints, and other personalization items.
The new Multiplayer maps to be included in Season One are classic maps: Shipment and Vacant.
Furthermore, the new Special Ops experiences comes in the form of Operation Strongbox, Classic Special Ops Disinform, and Classic Special Ops Bomb Squad.
Two additional featured bundles will be coming to Modern Warfare Season One as well: ‘Blood Stained’ and ‘Holideadly.’ ‘Holideadly’ allows Operators to “look menacing, but still display the spirit of the season.” The ‘Holideadly’ bundle comes with an ornament weapon charm, two festive Operator skins, a Holiday themed weapon blueprint, and more.
The ‘Blood Stained’ bundle is for Zane of the Allegiance. “Don a cool outfit with the ‘Pepper Don Red’ Operator skin, get the ‘Arterial’ melee weapon blueprint, plus two more weapon blueprints the ‘Slizen’ and the ‘Aspirator,’ and more.”
Players can also participate in Double Weapon XP from December 20, 2019 at 10:00AM PST to December 23, 2019 at 10:00AM PST.
