The new massive expansion to Capcom’s Monster Hunter World, Iceborne, is nearing its release in just a couple of months, and so far we’ve seen some pretty exciting reveals. The latest piece of footage making the light of day is some real-time gameplay showing off a turf war between to hulking beasts in the frozen region of Hoarfrost.
Game Informer revealed their August cover story is all about the upcoming expansion and the first bit of coverage gives fans a look at the starting of a turf war between newcomers Banbaro and the return of the wyvern monster, Barioth.

There’s expected plenty of more Game Informer exclusive coverage for Iceborne in the coming weeks so we should all be learning a bit more about the upcoming Monster Hunter World expansion.
Iceborne is set to release on September 6, 2019 for the PS4 and Xbox One with a PC release arriving this winter. Players must own a copy of Monster Hunter World in order to experience the upcoming expansion.
