New Nintendo’s Indie World Showcase Announced for Next Week

Nintendo has announced a new showcase event for indie games arriving next week called Indie World. The event will give viewers a deeper look into upcoming indie games for the Switch console and what to expect further down the line with the incredibly robust line up of indie titles for the Nintendo console.

Nintendo noted that the event will last around 20 minutes which should provide viewers with a substantial amount of new releases. While focused on the indie game line up, viewers shouldn’t expect to see any big-budget upcoming titles featured, such as Luigi’s Mansion 3, Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening or Pokemon Sword/Shield. Instead, we’ll most likely see upcoming titles more along the lines of Untitled Goose Game, Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince, Children of Morta or A Hat in Time.

The Indie World livestream will air this coming Monday, August 19, 2019 at 6AM PT/9AM ET.
