New Persona 5 Story Trailer Revealed

New Persona 5 Story Trailer Revealed

It was revealed by Deep Silver, a brand-new Persona 5 story trailer! After having his life ruined, the main protagonist of the game must start anew as the newest transfer high-school student at Tokyo’s Shujin Academy. However, he’ll soon discover that he has the ability to enter the hearts of people and force them to confront their true selves (for better or worse).

Check out the story trailer of Persona 5, featuring the games’ story:

“With his newly discovered powers, the protagonist and his raucous group of outcast friends form the Phantom Thieves of Hearts to help unmask the ills of society. It’s only a matter of time before their actions become noticed by undesirables, so will they be able to bring justice to everyone who deserves it in time?

That’s not all! Today also marks the start of Persona 5 digital pre-orders on PlayStation Network. All digital pre-orders will receive bonus digital content, including the “Protagonist Special Theme & Avatar Set,” which includes a dynamic theme AND 3 protagonist avatars. It also includes an in-game DLC item – the “Izanagi & Izanagi Picaro Set,” which gives players the ability to summon Izanagi from Persona 4 into the picaresque world of Persona 5! It includes 2 Izanagi designs – the original & a special Picaro variant that reflects Persona 5’s aesthetic!

That Ryuji Theme & Avatar set that ATLUS launched the other week? We did initially intend for a Nov. 24 release, but due to some last-minute issues, the theme didn’t go live. But! The problem has been rectified and it’s now fully confirmed the theme will be live and free for 24 hours from the 5rd December at 10am GMT / 11am CET in Europe! Grab it for free before it’s too late!

Persona 5 is a game about the internal and external conflicts of a group of troubled youth who live dual lives. They have the typically ordinary day-to-day of a Tokyo high-schooler – attending class, after school activities and part-time jobs. But they also undertake fantastical adventures by using otherworldly powers to enter the hearts of people. Their power comes from the Persona, the Jungian concept of the “self;” the game’s heroes realize that society forces people to wear masks to protect their inner vulnerabilities, and by literally ripping off their protective mask and confronting their inner selves do the heroes awaken their inner power, and use it to strive to help those in need. Ultimately, the group of Phantom Thieves seeks to change their day-to-day world to match their perception and see through the masks modern-day society wears.

Persona 5 will release on April. 4 in the Americas and Europe, for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. Pre-orders are now available at participating retailers for either version of the game.”
