New Player Kamek Arriving To Mario Tennis Aces Next Month

The arcade sports title featuring everyone’s favorite pipe plunging, Goomba stomping hero, Mario Tennis Aces, is getting itself a brand new all-star player added to the roster. The Magikoopa Kamek will be bringing all of his flair and spells to the court as the latest tennis pro to swing a racket.

To announce the new star heading over to the Switch title, Nintendo released a new character trailer for Kamek. Check out all of his moves in action below:

Helping beef up the current roster in Mario Tennis Aces, Kamek looks to bring a slew of moves to the clay. He’ll bring plenty of trick-shots to keep opposing players on their toes, utilizing his floating and teleportation skills to his advantage.

We also get a glimpse at his racket-breaking special shot which sees Kamek grow into his massive state and deliver an all-powerful shot that’s sure to frustrate your opponents.

Kamek will be available as an Early Access character to players taking part in online tournaments starting on April 1, 2019 and lasting until May 1, 2019. Kamek will then be available for everyone else outside of tournament play starting after May 1, 2019.
